On Thursday, I had dug this wild olive out of the Jerusalem Mountains (Jerusalem Yama

).
Unfortunately, I had to live it not potted, with its root ball wrapped in a plastic bag, until Friday morning.
On Friday, I discovered that all the soil came off the roots, but Olives are "tough customer" (as everybody in this area) and I believe it will survive.
It has to have a lot of training; I only cut off about 30cm (12") of its height and few unnecessary branches, it is now 80cm (32") tall.
On March, I will continue shaping and training.
Pleas notice the very small leaves about 6mm (1/4"), this is the reason it is believed to be a Wild olive, if there are wild olives at all.
