You may have just interrupted some of the cambium flow to the tips on some of the branching; wiring in summer can due that sometimes. Or you may have damaged some of the end while wiring you tree. Overall from the pictures it does not look like there is much die back of the tips. It looks like there is new growth as well. I would just keep a close eye on it over the next few weeks.
