Probably, in retrospect, too often. My instructions said frequent waterings, in some cases daily, because the soil is "bonsai soil" which does not retain much water. It's now outside with the other plants, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that good things will happen. It does not look like it's dead, just really, really sad.
