Thanks for the tips! As for where to place it, I have some options...Option #1: I can put it outside on the balcony, which faces west. It gets some pretty strong afternoon sun but I can shade it with the balcony wall. Option #2: Inside by a sunny window with indirect, bright afternoon sunlight...I can keep the window open for good air circulation. Option #3: Bathrooom window which faces south east...maybe better for humidity?

Also, should I take off the pebbles so the soil can air out? They are not glued on, but I've noticed that some of the scale shells in them, and I'm wondering if there are more scale in the pebbles / soil?
