hey everbody!please help a novice start growing bonsai! i was planning to start with a mini bonsai but they say that they're harder to keep and not ideal to the weather here in the philippines. is this a hundred percent true? so i guess a regular bonsai would do. but a fairly small one, like 15-30 cm? what would you recommend? is a serrisa ok? people keep recommending a ficus or an elm but i just don't want either to be my starter bonsai
