Unless you can protect them from the winter cold after they sprout, they will not make it through the winter as young seedlings. If you sow them in Oct/Nov, they won't have enough strength to make it through until spring.

Better to put them into the fridge at the right time to plant them in spring.

You might buy some Brazilian Raintree seeds, they are tropicals and don't need the stratification. And their trunks twist up naturally.

Joanie (who ordered seeds just recently too, and is itching to plant them. Patience, patience.)
