Some brands of mychoriza are sold with a wetting agent included, which gets gooey and is transparent once it has soaked up water. M guess is to help establsh correct additions around the roots and nourishment for the mychoriza to thrive.


I've used some like that. In the small amounts I added it has seemed harmless to the trees.
