Nice little tree you got there!
I was a little surprised that you grow them outdoors year round. I got mine from Indonesia as a P microphylla (thats why im growing indoors), but, what is yours?
If you have (?) propagated other species with success, i doubt that the Premna will fail for you. You could even do them the easy way, putting them in a glas of water.
I do them with rooting hormone and bonsai soil or perlite with almost 100% success.
So, either way, you will earn some new stock.
