It certainly is a Cotoneaster,tho not 100% of the species.
I had 2 at the time and the other one is at the bottom of the garden full of ripening berries,just where a cotoneaster has berries formng.
Theres quite a few of them growing in the hedge in the front garden, no doubt arrived there via bird!
