Although intresting reading.(Again I had to research tems like embolized

)
I don't believe either article answers the question posed by Antonis.
He asks wether to use fertiliser after root pruning.
The first article was meant to answer this question but in the conclusion it only gives results of the effects of rootprunning. If I read correctly a 50% root prune still has less flow of water at the end of the growing season(fair bit). Yet a 25% root pruned tree has increased( minor) water flow by the end of the growing season compared to a non root pruned tree.
The second article relates to fertilisation when repotting but not root prunning. I got from this that what Walter put elequently by saying" I use watever fertiliser is on specail, the tree uses what it wants" In response to what fertiliser to use in Autum.
I think it is this that you seem to agree with as well with Brent.
I insinuate that there is no need to swap to a 0-0-10 type fertiliser in Autum?
In any account I think it is now accepted that wether it does any good or not fertilisation at the time of repotting will not harm the tree.
