you were fortunate indeed that you were home at just the right time. I wasn't so fortunate back in 2003 after moving to a new subdivision and a six month old house that needed a new roof after that string of storms that night while I was at work. I posted a few pics
Here of some of the damage. Spring storms in Tx. and bonsai just don't go together at all. The level of anxiety that you go through every time the sky darkens a little, is overwhelming. Glad you made out alright.
