The main tree was nursery stock about 3 years ago. I put it in the ground about 2.5 years ago and was removed in October last year. The other trees have been in and out of black pots for 2 years.
I tied a slate setting in the summer before the last with nicholii but the frost killed the trees. I suspect the roots did not like being frozen. ( Lesson learnt )
