Since I've had great success this year already with really fast cutting rootings, I wondered how it was going with everybody else.
I'm amazed how it went because it's still only May here and I have rooted hardwood cherry cuttings - looking like ready made mame in exactly 1 month. Cuttings were made April 11 and yesterday May 8, already 75% had substantial enough roots to be potted up. I'm amazed but then it was the warmest April for 300 years here.
The other amazing success (well I find it amazing) was quince cuttings 3cm thick! (1.25") in 5 weeks - completely filled the pot they were in.
I've now made a batch of Chinese Elm cuttings, some zelkova and Pomegranate. I'm leaving the remaining cherry to see what happens.
So, what's happening with everybody else's cuttings?
