Just a thought.... if you airlayer you will basically loose the years development. You will be spending the time developing an airlayer. The tree will not develop as it could during this growing season. If you don't care and can 'donate' the time....
Basically I'm saying don't. I only think an airlayer should be an option if you have a hidden gem waiting for you.
