so would you think that those apex stumps should be shortened and or removed entirely?
The final design I have in mind is banyan but i will still need some sort
of apex. I'm peplexed but with figs time usually sorts out the tree.

And yes, the trunk looks like alot of branches stuck together but I like it.
It looks like those pics of giant banyans in the tropics.
