Yes, it would be best as Ian says, to take the discussion over to AoB. While the post about the contest, and the links, are all acceptable over here, it is their contest and they should be in touch with the replies/concerns/questions.
Contests are a heck of a lot of work, for very little reward. Usually the bickering, back-stabbing, and attempted rule-bending go far towards negating the fun and the final appreciation of the contest. I've been surprised and dismayed in the past (having been the moderator/contest coordinator in the past for several contests) how difficult it can be to keep everything in the proper spirit. Some people just can't play nice.
Sorry if this is an unusually negative post, but I've seen both sides and have come out of a few of the contests with the distinct feeling that it wasn't really worth the trouble.
So either support the contest in the proper spirit, or ignore it. With all of the inherent problems holding one of these contests, eventually the negatives will cause people to stop holding them at all, and then no one wins.
Isn't it better to have these contests available, and have a choice in participating?
