Unfortunately,the aformentioned yet un named "he"(notice the small "h") has left a perceived trail of lies,subterfuge, self agrrandizement and self promotion which legitimately leads to some mistrust of any endeavor with which he is associated...even when it is a worthy endeavor.Sad but true.
A couple of other things you might take into account are the mistatements and sequence of this promotion.I would have thought that the ones involved with this endeavor would have posted an announcement on AOB's front page before promoting it on other sites.If it was done,I missed it.Also, from a posting on another site by Will. ..Bonsai Today was involved from the very beginning....(oops,that statement has been edited out
).That's not a big deal except that it was conveniently left out of the first "announcement" here....and later denied.(and now editted)I'm sure it was just a mistake on Will's part.There is no way that man would lie.
I personally don't share the dismay at this contest,or its promotion on bT.But I am not surprised by it,nor do I fault those who are.
