I for one am not in favour of this 'contest'. From what I understand it's supposed to be a contest to measure the difference in quality of bonsai between the U.S. and Europe. To me, it seems like a contest of 'who has the biggest ....'. In my personal and humble opinion, this is not what bonsai is about.

I think bonsai is everything but 'contesting'. Not that I have a tree that is worthy of participating, but still, if I would have had one, I still wouldn't participate.

Then again, this is only my opinion.
