Thank you for posting these excellent pictures of inspiring bonsai. I have a question about the picture (pa266996adjsm.jpg) of a Korean hornbeam. The tree in this picture has fully green leaves, as of that late October date. My specimens, and others I have seen, were well into their fall color by that time. Is it possible that this specimen was maintained under glass for a while before the show, resulting in the rich green color?
I know that different details of culture affect things like this; just wondered whether there is a technique to delay (or conversely, to speed up) autumn coloring in deciduous trees.
