You are quite right.
We openly encourage promotion of other events here.... and as I explained on the AoB Site, it is testiment to why this thread is still here. However, it is also nice, if those members who do post such notices also happen to contribute on a more regular basis to that particular forum, by helping answer questions from younger or less experienced folk. That is then a fair trade-off and helps all.

With house-keeping I have moved this to the specific "contest" area, with a re-direct from the GENERAL area it was originally posted in.

I will be sure to let you all know over at AoB of the next contest planned here on bonsaiTALK.

The "on-line" Bonsai Community is certainly a close-knit specialist sector, and members that view have their freedoms to view and part-take in what ever way they can.
