I know, that's always a risk.
Some people get too carried away. But, in general, bonsai folks, expecially the advanced ones, tend to be nice and easy going. People who are able to create outstanding bonsai are not too eager to prove anything. They have already done it many times, and now they are ready to share their wisdom.
So, hopefully we are mature enough not to make this into more than what it is.
