I agree with you, that bonsai is very different from anything involving team competition.
But are we not allowed to play once in a while? Do we always have to take bonsai so seriously that we cannot have some lighthearted fun?
I hope not. This is what a bonsai competition should be about
: a social event, where people come together to share their passion. Of course, there are many ways to do this, but this is just one of them.
