I agree that Tree Genus is a good default for Tree Type - but I still want to use it for Cultivar/Variety, too. It will give the botanists among us heartburn, but the software won't care, and I'll be able to sort Fagus (beeches - what was that pruning procedure?) and Kiyohime Acer p. maples (dratted thing is ALREADY waking up - thinks it's a Chinese Quince or something, it wakes up (needs repotting NOW) so early!).
I'd rather store a picture of my actual tree with the Specimen, not in a generic place like Tree Genus (or Type), so it's ok with me to drop Photo here.
