Congratulations Dwight, thats it exactly. Trees in nature for the most part are ugly. It's not until you get to tree line and deadwood, or swamps with over size buttressed trees, or windswept coastlines that you start to see trees like those we try and emulate in our bonsai. Who wants to make a tree like a lollipop. Thats what most of the trees in the park look like.
