The earthy aspect of your pots are great! I agree with an early comment that they have a medieval look.

I sometimes suffer from the 'dumb question' syndrome, but here goes. Are the screws metal? I would think that you'd have problems in the firing with different expansions. Alternatively, I would think that they would be difficult to carve individually. In one pic I can see where you've turned the pot, so you are not using a slip process.
