Ice Storm

Electrical power has been intermittent today. It seemed like a perfect time to experiment with some new photography equipment and enjoy the storm. As I walk through the forest, I can hear the creaking of trees and the falling of branches. The ground crunches under my footsteps.

Photo 1: A typically vertical birch is horizontal from the weight of ice
Photo 2: Rhodo on the rocks
Photo 3: White pine needles covered in ice
Photo 4: Ice bush
Photo 5: Birch - the top of this tree has touched the ground
Photo 6: Empty bonsai gallery - (the trees are inside, safe from the storm)

Enjoy the photos!
