Back to the topic of nematodes. Not all nematodes are microscopic and some can definitely be seen with the naked eye. I would take a sample to your County Extension Service (look in phone book in the county pages) They are free to the public and always love a challenge. Most of the paople there seem to give bonsai a special priority because they don't see them every day. I have received help with some very obscure problems concerning my bonsai and never been disappointed. Try them
