Below, I have posted the five winners in each of the classic bonsai styles. Now it is time for the forum to choose the winner. Matt suggested this, and I think it is a wise choice. I would have a hard time picking a winner from the fine entrys.
I have included a photo montage of the five winners in a row, and larger photos appear in the following post. The trees directly below are the original trees from which I removed the branches and foliage to make the separate trunks. They are there for your enjoyment.
Please vote only once. For those that feel the overwhelming desire to stuff the ballot box, Matt has informed me that he has the capability to see who votes, and how many times. No hanging chads here!!

Congratulations to those that made the finals, and thanks to everyone that participated. This was fun to the max. I can hardly wait to try this again. I am already thinking of a new contest as we speak. Stay tuned!!
