Since your tree is of the variegated type it isn't as fussy as the green Serissa.
Leaves on the variegated are slightly thicker than the green variety.
Would imagine your tree is only a couple of years old grown from cuttings.
When the time comes trim the tips of branches to promote back budding for more lower branching.
Bright light will encourage flowering.
