If you want clump style, you can cut the branches and stick them in some fast draining media for it to root, that is a much better bet than wiring. Serisaa wood is very brittle and soft, so the branches will split and crack easily if over extended when wired. So if you want movement in the trunk you should be quick with the wiring
If cutting off the branches is a bit too much for you, you can also ground layer above the existance root structure, and then rearrange the branches after they root.
