hello all,
I have a bonsai - (corokia) and it has white growths on some leaves.
They are shaped like the mother of pearl shell and have brown/orange ends.
After i scanned one of the leaves (camera sucks) i found i could take them of with tweesers....
but what made them? are they an animal? egg/ cocoon? mold?

any ideas?
also... there are white box like growths.. they have little hairs/antenna and re hard, eating the branch under them.. nothing alive... hmmh.. fungus?
