Since I'm in Zone 9 and in Australia I sometimes repot my juinpers in autumn sometimes but much prefer to wait until spring to repot all my conifers. I guess it depends on what you believe will work. I know that I have no problems with repotting in the spring. However I tend to stress out a lot if I do it in the autumn and don't see any growth before winter sets in.

Depends also on how cold it is already.
