Hi Brutus,
this depends on where you live. If it is a Hibiscus rosa sinensisit must not get frozen. I have my hibiscus in the living room all winter. End of April I take all the foliage off and put it into my greenhouse. In June it has foliage again and in July a lot of flowers. Feed a lot organically.
