For the next several hours I pruned and pruned. I filled a large 50 gallon trash container over half full with needle juniper foliage after pruning 13 trees. My wife will kill me if I get any on the ground since our Shihtzu is attracted to it like ducks on a june bug.
I then began placing all the trees in the container. This is the hardest part and yet satisfying if all goes well. After working for another couple hours on the design, I filled it up with soil and tightened all the wires. This is my foemina forest ready for its new spring growth. By April 1st the branches should be filled out and this should look awesome.
