I started about 8 AM this morning. Still had a dew on the lawn and just a hint of steam on the breath. I started by unpotting the smaller grove. I have had this forest since 1984 and have repotted it about evey three years. It was repotted last year and so the trees were very easy to remove. They were taken apart and pruned for shape and left to soak in a beer cooler bucket while I did the other forest.
The other forest was taken from the pot and the trees were taken from the soil matt. This was very hard as the trees had not been repotted in 6 years. The roots were very compacted and it took nearly 3 hours to get the trees free.
