BUT...
Does reducing root mass by 2/3 mean I should decrease the plant with successive repottings over time? (i.e. reduce top & bottom by 2/3, put into a training pot, WAIT AN ETERNITY, then pot down into a bonsai pot?
Would you suggest waiting a full year to do this?
Although I am itchy to get going I'm sure willing to wait if this is the best course.
