If you want indoor bonsai get tropicals they are the only ones that can successfully survive inside. a juniper inside will die period because junipers NEED to go dormant and that means it has to be temperatures lower than, i would say, 40F. So i would definitly suggest tropicals if you want them indoors. They should be brought outside in the spring so they can grow.
edit: I shouldnt say that it needs to go domant its just that it need specific enviromental conditions that cannot be given to it on a dining room table.
