It's funny you should say that, what I meant to say was that I envisioned the tree as a "windswept" style tree, not a cascade. Not sure why the word cascade came out of my fingertips... I was just not sure of what a windswept shimpaku could/would look like. Also, in regards to deadwood, I have a few trees with that effect on it, and would like to steer clear of that with this tree, unless of course a branch is beggin for it. I have to give the tree what it wants, you know? Seriously though, thanks for your help, and if you see a snapshot of a WINDSWEPT (hey I'm getting the hang of it) shimpaku, let me know. Thanks!
