J Dub, being from mass, i feel your pain when keeping trees indoors for the winter. sounds to me like you're tree is in shock from moving and root pruning, perfectly normal. keep an eye out for bugs to ensure they are not the cause. only water when needed (can't stress that enough), with freshly pruned roots and a tree in shock, a lot of water can/will cause root rot pretty quickly (in my expierience anyway). and NO FERTILIZER!! its a little late here for root pruning, but you can make it successfully. keep an eye on the watering, and in a few weeks, your tree should stabilize if not start to recover from what i believe you will find is just a case of shock. it can be done . where in mass are you btw? i'm in norton.
