Santa Cruz Show
I had the good fortune to make a visit at the Santa Cruz Bonsai Kai (SCBK) show. The forums own Robert was the show cordinator. The show was very nicely done. I was able to meet Leesa, working the hospitality desk, and meet Robert and his wife. Robert's wife sewed the backdrops, which were stretched on to PVC frames. The looked very nice. She also ironed them for the show. Ain't bonsai wifes great! The vendor area was top notch and I even managed to buy a few trees.
I will post some pics of the trees in no particular order. The names were not posted. Even though I know which trees are Robert's I will not name them. If he wants to tell you which ones are his, I will let him share that info. I must say I was very impressed with Robert's trees. He has been holdin back in the gallery. The show was very juniper based, with not many deciduous trees. I did miss a few in the photos, there was a great crabapple tree that I forgot.
