Hi all, regarding the cut paste shown in the picture. The 'tub' on the right comes in two types. A brown for evergreens and a gray for decidious. The color is of the putty like material inside. My tub, decidious, has a white cap... the Main Japanese Characters are red in color(not white) but seem to be the same on both containers. I have seen them sold together, they are different, but honestly I think it is only the color added so as to have it blend in when applied.

I have used in the past a auto product, a non-hardening, gasket in a tub. Well after time it did melt into the wood and would not come off. It did seal the wound but.....
I also used a outdoor white glue which remained kind of glossy for a long time.

Now I use the real thing!
