Tim and Yurup,

I know that European Larches don't bud back, so thats clear.
I like this tree a lot, cause its 1 of my first 5 starters. I want to make a natural looking tree out of it, with caracter on the left and not much on the right side, like I tried to show in my virt. For me taper isn't that important, some people do anything for getting taper, like ending up with a sumo tree. Did you 2 ever see a Larch in a sumo style in nature??

Your giving close to the same advice I gave to Weeijk around september. Trunk chop to the left branch, let it grow for a while and produce a nice tree. Still sounds like the most solid advice to me.
Yurup, I can remember this drawing, but also that it wasn't meant for this tree.
So maybe you can refresh my mind, cause I can't find the tread where you gave me this advice?

These are my thoughts, offcourse I'm open to others, but a total trunkchop seems to me out of the question.

Never the less, thanks for your advice,

Wessel
