Hi Heather,

If you ask us this, months ago in beggining of the infestation, I could suggest you not to use inseticide.
Here in Rio we use to catch the parasite manually with a stick with a small ball of cotton at the top, embebed in commercial alcohol. It function well and kills the parasite immediately.
Only in high infestations we use something more agresive.
