Nothing trumps horsetail! They've been at it for 300 million years, and even if you pull all the above ground parts they regenerate, from even the smallest bit of root. And, even if you do get the whole plant, the spores can lie dormant in the soil for more than thirty years.

They are like the original grass. How appropriate that they be used in a grass planting.
