Some more root raking, trimming large roots on bottom and cutting away at a large knob on bottom. I think I can fit it into one of my pots

.
BTW, This is the time of year to do this work on tropicals in zone 5, during our hottest and most humid times June-August.
Then I started selecting a pot. My FIRST choice was a round pot, then oval but I had neither ( Except in Mica

) so I took a couple rectangles and a shallow oval I had made. I didn't really know ahead of time what kind of rootball I would end up with, but I knew I would need a pot about 14-15" inside.
I finally decided on a nice Chinese unglazed pot in a redish color which snugly held the tree. I think I actually liked it better than I'd hoped for with a round or oval
