I have often wondered about the suitabulity of Metrosideros species for Bonsai culture... For some time, I have been eyeing off a gnarly old New Zealand Christmas Tree (Metrosideros excelsa) at a local gaden centre, with a view to
turning it into
Bonsai. So, maybe the next time I have some extra $$$...
