Many of the plants that we use for kusamono are simply beautiful weeds. They aggressively spread across the container and need "weeding" to keep the kusamono in trim. But sometimes there is a battle between plants when more than one aggressive plant cohabits the same pot.
One recent example was dwarf bamboo planted with dwarf equisetum. It took a few months but the equisetum trashed the bamboo!!!
So equisetum wins the first round... do we have any kusamono plants that have beaten dwarf equisetum? Would wood sorrell beat dwarf equisetum

Any takers
Cheers,
Jim
