Maybe a popularvote can be made where everybody can give 1,2,3....10 points only once, so 10 "trees" can be rated. That will possibly be the 10 you like best. Than there isnt a problem that some-one gives only 10s, 9s and 8s on all trees.
There will be a more distincted difference between the trees in this way, I hope.
Maybe you will take this into consideration.
