The original post was intitled: Are these any good?... I think. In any case this article pretty much recaps what has gone on from there.

Today some update photo's of where we are. There are five of these under construction in various states of construction. These are the two with the most development thus far. The twin trunk is coming along but is not growing much with the heat. These two are still pushing new growth daily and I just keep pinching and pruning for shape.

These trees have been in training for three years. I suspect they were about 15 years old when I bought and chopped them.

I rewire them when it is needed. As soon as I see any signs of cutting in I remove the wire and start over. That may be as quick as two weeks or two months. It just depends on what is going on at the time with the tree.
