this much rain sucks.
Here in MD, like RockM in VA, we are seeing record rainfall. I just saw on the news that a nearby locale got over a FOOT in 24 hrs. It has been raining seriously since about Thursday PM (5 days). A local dam is at risk and downstream residents aren't taking chances and are moving to higher ground.
I think it's time to bring in the crop so they can dry out for a time. This is the most rain I can remember ever. Hearing about it on the news from faraway places is one thing. Living it is quite another. Even commuting is effected. Having to avoid low-lying areas must be considered.
Keep a thought for those that have become flooded. Imagine having to pump out your house. I would be distraught.
